Prime Video Brings Hit Web Series “Helluva Boss” to Its Platform, Greenlights Seasons 3 and 4

Big news for animation lovers! Prime Video has picked up the fan-favorite web series Helluva Boss. The series comes from the same world as Hazbin Hotel. At the LVL UP Expo, Prime Video announced they are also moving ahead with Seasons 3 and 4.

Creator and executive producer Vivienne Medrano has signed a new first look deal with Prime Video too. This means she will develop even more fresh content for the platform in the future.

The announcement was made through a fun animated clip featuring characters from both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. It officially confirmed that both shows take place in the same world, now called “The Hellaverse.”

For the first time, the first two seasons of Helluva Boss will launch on Prime Video this Fall. But don’t worry, the episodes will stay on YouTube too. New seasons will premiere first on Prime Video before going elsewhere. The series will be available for streaming in over 240 countries and territories, bringing Helluva Boss to an even bigger audience worldwide.

Vivienne Medrano shared her excitement, saying, “I’m beyond grateful to Prime Video for supporting Hazbin Hotel and now helping Helluva Boss grow even more. This is a huge win for indie animation. I’m thrilled to keep telling these crazy stories. Get ready for a wild ride!”

What is “Helluva Boss” About?

Helluva Boss is set in a lively and chaotic version of Hell. The show follows Blitzo (the “o” is silent), who runs I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals). His small but wild team carries out assassination jobs in the human world using a magic grimoire, and a little help from demon prince Stolas.

Blitzo works with Moxxie, a smart but nervous sharpshooter; Millie, a fearless and fiery fighter; and Loona, their tough receptionist who has a sharp tongue. Together, they balance crazy missions with their even crazier personal lives. Expect lots of action, comedy, and dark humor in every episode.

Vivienne Medrano not only created the show but also leads its production. Tom Murray joins her as an executive producer.

Who are the Voice Actors for the show?

The voice cast includes Brandon Rogers (Class Acts), Richard Horvitz (Invader Zim), Vivian Williams (Grey’s Anatomy), Erica Lindbeck (ThunderCats Roar), and Bryce Pinkham (Mercy Street). Other talented names like Alex Brightman (Hazbin Hotel), James Monroe Iglehart (Superkitties), Cristina Vee (Sailor Moon), Georgie Leahy (Normal British Series), Rochelle Diamante, and Morgana Ignis (Class Acts) also bring the characters to life.
