Episode 4 Recap: What Happened Before?

In the previous episode, titled “The Old Country Bumpkin Takes Flight With a Monster,” Beryl injured Zeno Grable by stabbing him in the eye. This gave Surena the chance to land the final blow. Although Beryl was praised by the Adventurer’s Guild, he refused to become an official adventurer.

The next day, Allucia and Curuni took Beryl to a blacksmith named Balder Gasp, who was also a former student. Beryl noticed that Curuni’s sword had worn out, so he helped her choose a Zweihänder. Surena requested a custom blade for Beryl, made from Zeno’s claw.

That evening, Beryl caught a pickpocket named Mewi. She used magic to escape but accidentally dropped her necklace as she fled.

What Happened in Episode 5?
