Masha Starts Fresh—But Still Has Secrets

In the Season 2 premiere, Masha is once again leading a group of strangers through a wellness journey. This time, the retreat is hidden deep in the Alps. No phone signal. No easy way in or out. It’s the perfect location for her next big experiment.

Masha, however, isn’t free from her past. She admits at a conference that she’s facing legal issues and has multiple warrants. Despite this, she’s still pushing forward with her psychedelic therapies and is keeping secrets from everyone, including her team.

She’s haunted by visions of her daughter, Tatiana, who passed away. These nightmares continue to follow her, showing just how much grief still controls her life.

A New Location and a Secret Partnership

Masha’s fresh start comes with help from a man named Martin, who connects her with someone named Helene. Helene offers her a remote property in the Alps, completely off the grid, with no phone signal and limited access. It’s the perfect setting for Masha’s next experiment.

Once she arrives, Masha sets up hidden cameras across the property. Guests don’t know it yet, but they’re being watched closely. Masha wants to observe everything, which shows she still has full control over her “wellness journey.”

New Guests, New Stories

The first episode introduces the nine strangers who’ve come to the retreat. Some are aware of Masha’s work, others are just looking for peace. But none of them fully understand what they’ve signed up for.

Peter Sharpe is one of the first guests we meet. He’s hiking through the Alps, telling stories along the way. When he arrives at the retreat, he quickly starts searching for cell service. His father, David, was supposed to join him, but he’s missing. Masha later tells him the program can’t begin without David, which adds to the mystery.

Imogen is another guest who stands out. She’s smart, confident, and the daughter of a wealthy, eccentric woman named Victoria. Victoria, who has been through many divorces, arrives with a man named Matteo. There’s something suspicious about Matteo, and it’s hinted that he may be involved in Masha’s larger plan.

Brian is struggling with anger issues. He’s loud, frustrated, and not afraid to show it. He panics when his luggage goes missing and ends up yelling over the phone. His anger might be the reason he’s at the retreat, to find some sort of peace.

Sister Agnes is also among the guests. Although no longer a nun, she still dresses like one, only because her clothes were ruined during travel, and the staff gave her a uniform to wear for now. She’s quiet and seems to be on a personal search for meaning or closure.

Then there’s Wolfie and Tina, a couple dealing with problems in their relationship. Both are musicians, but Tina has lost her passion for playing piano. Wolfie brought her to the retreat, hoping it will help reignite her creativity. However, Tina doesn’t know who Masha is or why they’re really there, creating tension between the couple.

Where Is David Sharpe?

The biggest question right now: where is David Sharpe, Peter’s father?

We finally see David getting into a car. He’s headed to the retreat but has doubts. He doesn’t trust the drug therapy, but he’s curious—he wants to know if it can help him become a better person. What is he running from? We’ll soon find out.

A Mysterious Start to Season 2

Just like the first season, Season 2 begins by slowly introducing us to each guest. But this time, there’s more mystery. Why are they really here? What is Masha planning? And can they trust her?

The setting, the secrets, and the strange new guests all set the stage for a season full of suspense, emotions, and unexpected turns.
